Booking & Cancellation Policy
- GST is included in all tariffs.
- To make a booking, a valid credit card number and expiry date must be provided as a guarantee.
- 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellation. If the booking is canceled within 24 hours’ up to 2 pm on the day of check-in, the first nights’ tariff will be charged to the card provided.
- There is no refund for early departures.
- We reserve the right to vary these policies for certain periods and events as required. If there is a variation to the cancellation policy, you will be advised at the time of booking.
House Policy
- Room payment in full is to be made prior to or upon arrival and any extra charges or incidentals to be paid before departure.
- Damage caused by any guest to the Midlander’s property will be charged to the guest’s credit card.
- If credit card details cannot be provided upon arrival, a $250 cash deposit will be required upon check-in.
- Smoking is not permitted inside the rooms. Guests who smoke in their rooms contrary to our No Smoking rule will be charged a cleaning fee of $500. This fee covers cleaning, dry cleaning, airing out the room, carpet cleaning and 1 or 2 nights of this room being unavailable. The cleaning fee will be charged to the guest’s credit card without further notice should it be found that smoking has occurred in the room. This includes smoke drifting into the room as a result of smoking in the doorway.
- No pets allowed including in guest’s cars. This condition does not apply to the pet friendly rooms.
- No cooking allowed in motel rooms, except for the rooms with kitchenettes.
- One parking space per room – extra cars and visitors are to park on the street unless organised with management.
- Respect & quiet – please show respect to other guests and the Midlander staff. No noise after 9 pm and no parties allowed. Any guest failing to comply with this policy may be asked to leave without a refund.
- Supervise your children – children are to be supervised when in the pool area and within the motel grounds.
- Your personal possessions are your responsibility – the Midlander is not responsible for damage or theft.
- The Tesla charging stations are available to paying guests free-of-charge if charging during daylight hours or a $10 fee if charging overnight. If you wish to use the Tesla charging stations and are not a guest of the Midlander, a fee will apply.
- If you lose your room key, a $100 fee will be charged for replacing the lock and a new set of keys.
- Check-in time is from 2 pm.
- Check-out time is by 10 am.
Pet Policy
- Management may reject any pet bookings at their discretion
- Pets are only allowed to stay in pet friendly rooms.
- Pets must be declared at the time of booking including: breed, size, sex, desexed? Etc.
- A maximum of 2x small pets or 1x large pet are allowed in the Two bedroom Apartment. The Twin Room Accessible is limited to 1x small pet.
- Pets must be healthy and free of worms, fleas, etc.
- A pet fee of $50 is required per booking to cover extra cleaning.
- Any damage to furniture, linen, floor, or window coverings, will be charged to guest’s credit card without warning.
- Barking will not be tolerated.
- Pets are not allowed on our beds or furniture.
- Pets are not to be left unattended at any time.
- Pets are to be always kept on a lead when outside in the motel grounds.
- Owners must pick up after their pets and dispose of waste in bins. Must use poo bags.
- Failure to follow any of the above rules may result in eviction without refund.
Privacy Policy
Any personal information that we collect about our customers, including e-mail addresses, will be kept in our database. We will take reasonable steps to ensure that the personal information we hold is protected against misuse, disclosure and unauthorised access, including restricting access of personal information only to employees who require it in order to fulfill our obligations to you.
We will not disclose any personal information to third parties outside our company, without your written authority (except to the individual to whom the personal information relates) unless we are required by law or it is otherwise necessary.
We and our trusted third-party providers may, from time to time, use “cookies” to store your preferences, record session information and collect information on how you visit and access our webpages and newsletters. This information allows us to continually improve our services to provide you with a better overall experience.
Cookies are small files stored on your computer which allow us to recognise when you return to our site, as well as allowing our booking process to remember which products you have selected and when you move through the various screens of the booking process.
Most internet browsers will be set to automatically accept cookies when installed. Cookies can be deleted from your computer at any time (see your internet browser’s help menu for more information).
In addition, we will comply with all legislation, principles, industry codes and policies by which we are bound (including without limitation the Privacy Act 1988).
